The privately-owned information assurance group will become part of the Cobham Defence Systems Division and will operate under Cobham’s existing US Special Security Agreements.

Providing high-end security services, Argotek will merge with Cobham Analytics Solutions’ existing National Security Systems Sector to increase the depth of its technical offering.

According to Cobham, Argotek’s expertise in this field will be in demand for upcoming projects such as the Comprehensive National Cyber Initiative, a government programme aimed at strengthening US defences against electronic attack.
