I have a couple of updates to bring to you today and would like to start with an announcement that makes me very proud. On April 21st 2010 – the Queen’s birthday – Proto Labs, Limited received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2010 in the International Trade category; a great honour after just five years of trading. Next up is a service enhancement in First Cut. This is exciting for us as we now have a capability that detects pilot holes in your 3D CAD models and offers to thread them as part of the First Cut milling process. This development eliminates the need for a secondary finishing process which means you get the part you want quicker as well as eliminating the potential for problems to occur during the secondary finishing phase.

As usual, things are not standing still for Proto Labs in 2010 so keep your eyes open for even more developments throughout the year.

But for now, all at Proto Labs wish you the very best and look forward to working with you very soon.
