Fenner acquires B-LOC assets

Hessle, East Yorkshire-based reinforced polymer technology company Fenner has acquired the operating assets and liabilities of New York engineers B-LOC


Hessle, East Yorkshire-based reinforced polymer technology company Fenner has acquired the operating assets and liabilities of New York engineers B-LOC.



Fenner acquired gross assets of approximately $2.6m from B-LOC, a privately owned corporation involved in engineering and selling specialist power transmission and motion control components.



Mark Abrahams, Fenner’s CEO, said: ‘B-LOC is well known in the North American market. Their products extend and complement Fenner’s range of high value-added, proprietary drive solutions.’



Fenner claims to be the world leader in the global conveyor belting market. Its products include lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting for the mining and power generation markets, precision motion control products for the computer, copier and mechanical equipment markets, and sealing products for the mining, hydraulics and oil and gas industries.
