Vehicle air-conditioning specialists, Grayson Thermal Systems, has received annual orders worth more than £250,000 following the Euro Bus Expo event held earlier this month.

The Tyseley, Birmingham-based company claims their healthy order book is due to their new Cassette 2 Plus Cooling design. The system incorporates side-by-side cooling modules that are easier to clean and cut down on labour costs by using a quick release mechanism for maintenance.

Stuart Hateley, managing director of Grayson, said: ‘The show proved to be the right place to showcase our new Cassette 2 Plus Cooling System, as we enjoyed very strong interest from British and European vehicle manufacturers and operators.’

Grayson also unveiled its quick-release radiator for the Volvo B7TL and the Thermo King SR350 air-conditioning unit, which has been specifically designed for the UK bus and coach market.
