Porvair provides filtration systems for Parker aircraft

Porvair Filtration Group has signed a long-term agreement with Parker Aerospace to provide filtration systems for Parker’s on-board aircraft fuel tank inerting systems.

The agreement secures sales to Porvair that are expected to exceed $40m (£25.4m) over 10 years.

Parker’s lightweight system removes oxygen from a source of engine-bleed air with an air separation module (ASM), before delivering nitrogen-enriched air into the aircraft fuel tanks.

It is essential that these ASM modules are protected by Porvair’s filtration system, as they are particularly sensitive to contamination.
