Saab receives order from France for AT4CS weapon

Defence and security company Saab has received an order from the French Defence Forces through Direction générale de l’armement (DGA) for additional Light Anti-Tank Weapon AT4CS.

The order value is approximately SEK150m (£12.7m) and will be delivered during the three years beginning end of 2011.

It is the fourth contract from France for AT4CS, which to meet requirements for fighting in built-up areas can be fired from confined spaces.

In total, Saab has received orders from France for AT4CS totaling more than SEK1000m.
