SAIC wins contract to provide IT services for NASA

Science Applications International (SAIC) has been awarded the Enterprise Applications Service Technologies (EAST) contract by NASA to provide a broad range of information technology (IT) services in support of the NASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center.

The single-award contract, which has an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity component (ID/IQ), begins 1 February 2011 and has a two-year base period of performance, one two-year option and a single one-year option.

The maximum potential value of this contract if all options are exercised, including the ID/IQ component, is $321m (£206m).

Work will be performed at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, US.
