CSC wins $270 million contract

Computer Sciences Corporation has been awarded a $270 million follow-on contract to continue supporting the US Missile Defense Agency with scientific, engineering and technical assistance.

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has been awarded a follow-on contract to continue supporting the US Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with scientific, engineering and technical assistance at the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Joint Program Office (JPO).

The contract, which includes a two-year base period and a one-year option, is valued at more than $270 million if all options are exercised.

Under the agreement, CSC will continue to assist the JPO in the execution of the GMD element of MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System.

Services to be provided under the program include acquisition and business management; systems engineering, testing and evaluation; program protection and site activation and web engineering and information technology (IT) support.
