Trident revenues increase in third quarter

Trident Microsystems, a provider of home semiconductor systems, has announced that, for the third quarter ended 30 September 2010, net revenues reached $176.6m (£111.6m), which compares with $171.6m in the prior sequential quarter and $31.1m in the quarter ended 30 September 2009. 

On a GAAP basis, the company reported a net loss for the quarter of $17.5m, or $0.10 per share, which compares with a net loss of $48.8m, or $0.28 per share, in the prior sequential quarter and a net loss of $17.2m, or $0.25 per share, in the quarter ended 30 September 2009.

Non-GAAP net loss for the quarter was $0, or $0 per share, which compares with a non-GAAP net loss of $14.6m, or $0.08 per share, in the prior sequential quarter and a non-GAAP net loss of $11.6m, or $0.17 per share, in the quarter ended 30 September 2009.
