Yokagawa to supply plant control system to Marubeni

Yokogawa Electric, a Japanese electrical engineering and software company, has announced that its subsidiary Yokogawa Engineering Asia has received an order from Japanese trading company Marubeni to supply the control system for the boiler, turbine and auxiliary facilities at the Tembusu Multi-Utilities Complex in Singapore, a co-generation power plant that will rely on biomass and coal as its fuel source.

For the plant, Yokogawa will supply its Centum VP series integrated production control system, the PRM integrated device management software package for the remote monitoring and diagnosis of plant equipment and the Exaquantum plant information management system, as well as delivery, engineering, installation and commissioning services for these systems.
