HE Simm wins MEP contracts for student accommodation

Engineering services provider HE Simm has won four contracts worth £13m for its student accommodation division. The company will deliver full mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services on schemes in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Oxford.

At Portal Way, North Acton, the company will deliver mechanical, electrical and public health services, including ventilation, fan coil units, drainage, power, lighting, security and fire systems for Downing Construction.

At Crown Place, University of Liverpool, HE Simm will provide a number of eco-friendly and low-/zero-carbon technologies for contractor Ocon Construction.

Pochin Construction has appointed the company to undertake MEP works, including the refurbishment and renewing of mechanical, electrical and public health services, including drainage, power and lighting at the Leodis 3 student accommodation development in Leeds.

Finally, HE Simm has been chosen by Multibuild to deliver the MEP specification at Cowley Road, Oxford, delivering ventilation, drainage, power, lighting, security and fire systems.
