Northrop Grumman team wins contract valued at over $300 million

A team led by Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $300 million contract to provide Information Operations support to the US Army.

A team led by Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a contract to provide Information Operations (IO) technical and management support for the US Army’s Land Information Warfare Activity (LIWA).

The contract, which replaces six previous contracts with a consolidated team, is said to be worth more than $300 million over five years and will create approximately 220 jobs within Northrop Grumman’s Information Technology (IT) sector.

Northrop Grumman IT will provide engineering support for the US Army’s worldwide IO mission as well as professional services including acquiring, protecting, managing and exploiting information for the benefit of combat operations.

Work on the contract will be performed at a Northrop Grumman IT facility in northern Virginia.
