Aftermarket acquisition

Parker Hannifin has acquired Miami Lakes, FL-based Filtran Aftermarket Products for an undisclosed sum.


Parker Hannifin has acquired Filtran Aftermarket Products (FAP) for an undisclosed sum.


Miami Lakes, FL-based FAP, a supplier of aftermarket components used in the rebuilding of automotive transmissions, was acquired from SPX Corporation.


FAP had revenues of $33 million in 2004. The company will become part of Parker’s Seal Group and is expected to be accretive to earnings within its first full year of operation.


FAP provides sealing solutions for the automotive transmission market, including re-builders, original equipment manufacturers and distributors.
