HFL expands into Ireland

Manchester-based independent engineering and consultancy company Haden Freeman Limited is expanding into an additional site in Dublin


Manchester-based independent engineering and consultancy company Haden Freeman Limited (HFL), is expanding into an additional site in Dublin.



The opening of the Dublin office follows a number of projects HFL has completed throughout Ireland in the last year, including major engineering jobs for Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Intel. The projects were carried out in conjunction with HLF’s partner Nalco, which specialises in water treatment services.


HFL has carried out a number of projects in the UK and throughout Europe, and has a client base that includes Bio Products Laboratory, MSD, Genzyme, Actavis and Baker Petrolite. It is currently working on a project for Closed Loop London to construct the UK’s first ever PET recycling plant to turn plastic bottles into food packaging. It has also launched an energy management division in partnership with Quantum Energy.


The Dublin office will provide engineering management and improvement services to the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and general manufacturing industries, and will be headed up by HFL project manager, Ian Dunkley.
