Cambridge-based enterprise infrastructure software company Autonomy Corporation has entered into an OEM license agreement with Cisco


Cambridge-based enterprise infrastructure software company Autonomy Corporation has entered into an OEM license agreement with global network providers Cisco.



According to Autonomy, its technology enables a conceptual and contextual understanding of any piece of electronic data – text, email, voice or video – including unstructured information.



The software can be used in a variety of enterprise applications including information access technology, call centre solutions, rich media management, information risk management solutions and security applications.



Autonomy’s customer base comprises of more than 17,000 global companies and organizations including BAE Systems, BBC, Boeing, Lloyd TSB, NASA, the New York Stock Exchange and Shell. the company also has over 300 OEM partners.



Other companies in the Autonomy Group include archiving specialists Zanta, Cardiff, a provider of intelligent document solutions and Virage, which provides rich media management and security and surveillance technology.
