Derby-based scaffolding supplier Lobo Systems has won a series of orders for its work platform systems from major US companies.
NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, has purchased a Lobo system to provide a safe working platform over a tooling machine and for general maintenance.
Boeing is looking to add further purchases to their existing Lobo order. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is considering using Lobo’s products to help reduce maintenance costs in Corpus Christi. Intel has expressed an interest in using Lobo for maintenance in its silicon clean room environments.
Lobo’s existing customers within the US include Rolls-Royce, General Motors, Miller Bresing and BP’s Kansas operation.
