Elonics raises £6.1m investment funding

Elonics, the CMOS RF tuner company, has announced the closure of a £6.1m Series B investment round led by Scottish Equity Partners and supported by Octopus Ventures, alongside other existing investors.

Elonics, founded in 2003, claims it has achieved a breakthrough in RF tuner technology, solving the problem of combining high performance with low power and cost.

Elonics’ patented DigitalTune radio tuner chip technology platform, designed in CMOS, is said to significantly improve signal path management and can be easily configured to support television and radio standards across the globe.
