Kistler wins crash-test supply contract

Kistler, a provider of dynamic measuring systems, has won a £12m contract to supply instrumentation for three new crash-test facilities, which will be built in India.

The construction of modern crash-test centres in Delhi, Pune and Chennai will be the responsibility of the National Automotive Testing and R and D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP), an autonomous scheme set up by the Indian government within the Department of Heavy Industries.

The centres will be built and equipped over the next 18 months.
