3Ga Corporation has announced the release of 3G.web.decisions 2001, a peer-to-peer, web-native software product that enables design mobility in an open and scalable web environment.
Beta site users testify that 3G.web.decisions shortens product design cycle time and enables co-design without data translation. According to John Milroy, Principal Engineer, Delphi Diesel Systems, ‘Our initial evaluation has found 3G.web.decisions to be more than a collaborative tool. My entire team can easily compare and collaboratively evaluate more design alternatives in a parametrically dynamic web environment. Now, we have the ability to dramatically improve workflow, have an information base for parametric product synthesis and optimization, and accelerate our time to market.’
3G.web.decisions offers a neutral, web-native platform that enables users to evaluate associative parametric geometry and functional changes in real time during design reviews. The product is developed on the top of a Microsoft .NET platform and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) based architecture.
