Companies developing new healthcare products can now accelerate their route to market following the appointment of Medipex to a regional framework aimed at supporting Yorkshire manufacturers.
The framework is part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)-supported Advanced Manufacturing Support programme which is being run by the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC), part of Sheffield University’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.
The programme reportedly enables companies across the Yorkshire and Humber region to access funded services from companies on the framework to support their business activities.
According to a statement, Medipex has comprehensive knowledge and experience of the NHS landscape, intellectual property, market intelligence and product development.
Under the framework contract, Medipex is available to offer these services to the region’s engineering and manufacturing businesses developing products aimed at the healthcare sector.
