US mobile device management company Mformation Technologies is to establish a new development and technical support centre in Belfast with a £2m contribution from RDA Invest Northern Ireland.
Mformation provides solutions to many international wireless network operators, including Vodafone, Telefonica, T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel and Telus. Leslie Morrison, chief executive of Invest NI said: ‘Mformation’s establishment of its new development and technical support centre in Northern Ireland is a significant addition to the growing cluster of firms here servicing the international mobile communications sector. It is further confirmation of the strength of the available skills, the knowledge base and the ICT infrastructure.’
Mark Edwards, Mformation’s CEO, said: ‘The Belfast operation will become a centre of technical excellence and a key strategic development facility. Specifically, this new facility will increase capability in our global engineering and product development functions and ensure that Mformation continues to provide the most advanced and diverse range of Mobile Device Management solutions available in today’s global market.’
