M&I Materials
has landed its largest single order worth £2 million. The company will exclusively supply Wolfmet tungsten alloy parts from its
facility for the Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft under an agreement running to 2012. The production facilities were designed for efficient tungsten alloy manufacture, from blending raw materials to component finishing. BAE Systems cited this factor, along with the quality systems in making its decision to award the work.
