Zotefoams, the foam technology company, has responded to medical industry customer requests by adding “Healthcare Pink” to the available colours in its Evazote® EV30 foam.
Plastazote® polyethylene foam has been available for many years in “Healthcare Pink”, it being the most requested colour for medical and healthcare applications. Now, Evazote EV30 grade has also been made available in this popular colour. Evazote ethylene copolymer foam is tougher and more resilient than polyethylene foams yet has a softer feel.
These foams are used for a wide variety of medical and healthcare applications from diabetic insoles to prosthetics, cervical collars to medical packaging.
Azote® foams are acknowledged as the most cited thermoplastic foam materials in medical literature. They are exceptionally pure, exhibit excellent resistance to chemicals, ointments and lotions and are MRI, CT and X-ray lucent.
