ME10 Version 9.0 is Windows compliant

CoCreate has announced the availability of ME10 Version 9.0 – a fully Windows-compliant version of its 2D design, drafting and documentation software. ME10 Version 9.0 incorporates a full set of advanced CAD functions. It also supports the needs of existing ME10 users who are on a multi-platform environment or who are looking to reduce maintenance and adminstration costs by migrating from UNIX to Windows. Specific enhancements have been made to usability and productivity. In particular you get full integration between ME10 9.0 and ME10 Viewer – CoCreate’s recently announced low cost solution for viewing and printing ME10 drawings.

Electromagnetics simulation

The PC release of MagNet – the electromagnetics simulation package – features a completely rewritten interface which exploits the native properties of Windows. In addition to a familiar look and feel, you get the full benefit of the power of the latest PC operating systems. MagNet 6 is fully able to exchange data with another program to perform optimisation. Using ActiveX technology, scripts may developed for automatic model building, typically using the Visual Basic Script language for Java. Also, on-line product specific `forms’ may be used.

Intellution backs DNA software

Intellution’s Dynamics’ industrial automation software now supports Microsoft’s DNA for Manufacturing architecture. Using its iFIX automation software, Intellution recently demonstrated an integrated SCADA/MES/ERP solution using the DNA software.
