National Instruments, one of the leading providers of measurement and automation solutions, has officially opened a new research and development centre in Bangalore, India.
The new centre underscores National Instruments commitment to invest in the development of new products using the best talent across the globe, and builds on the success of its other three R&D facilities in the United States, China and Germany.
Mihir Ravel, NI vice president of corporate development, attended the inauguration ceremony in India. ‘NI is pleased to be opening this new facility in the heart of India’s high tech arena,’ said Ravel. ‘It allows us to work more closely in India with our customers and leading educational institutions.’
The R&D Centre will develop products and technologies for the global market and leverage India’s world class pool of engineering professionals. The centre will focus on developing powerful, flexible measurement and automation tools used by customers in markets as diverse as automotive, communications, consumer electronics, industrial machinery, biomedical and education.
