The move follows a period during which Partner Electronics won a number of significant contracts with major clients, including a provider of fibre optic sensors, a manufacturer of infrared devices and a supplier of navigation and process tracking devices. The new premises at Silverstone Innovation Centre will provide space for further expansion and the recruitment of additional engineers.
Richard Rydon, technical director of Partner Electronics, said: ‘This is an exciting time for Partner Electronics as we continue to expand. Silverstone Innovation Centre is an excellent location that will support our work with existing customers and enable us to develop our work in the automotive and motorsport sector.
‘We are sure that our team will benefit from the professional modern working environment here. The flexibility of Silverstone Innovation Centre also allows us to take on more office space as we grow our business.’
Silverstone Innovation Centre is a joint venture between British Racing Drivers Club and the East Midlands Development Agency and is managed by Oxford Innovation, which operates UK innovation centres.
