New head for NEC

Milton Keynes-based NEC Electronics has a new general manager. Rob Green, joining from Atmel, will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing of electronic components and display products throughout the UK and Ireland. On leaving University, Rob worked as a development engineering for EMI, and then moved into a marketing role at Philips.

New expert at Expert

Expert UK, precision indexing and transfer equipment specialist has appointed Peter Phipps as product support manager to head up its applications engineering and customer support team. Phipps brings to Expert more than 35 years’ sales and engineering experience gained within the machine tool, hydraulics, special purpose assembly and precision indexing drive sectors.

New man at DuPont

Donald Faught has been named president of DuPont Dow Elastomers Europe. Faught joined the DuPont company in 1973 as a design engineer, and since then has garnered significant experience in the business, R&D and marketing of elastomers and fluoroelastomers. Faught succeeds Jean-Louis Ranaud, who will be retiring next spring.
