The power range of the ABB general machinery drive has been extended to 22 kW. The drive is targeted at applications primarily found in food and beverage, material handling, textile, printing, rubber and plastic, as well as woodworking. Advanced functions include unpowered drive configuration, sequence programming and simple installation and integration. The drive can be programmed while still in its box saving time for OEMs, who can easily copy parameters between two drives or between a PC and a drive.
