Qinetiq increases its graduate intake for 2013 from 60 to 75

Qinetiq has announced that its graduate intake for 2013 is to increase from 60 to 75.

Qinetiq is also increasing in its apprenticeship programme and recently announced that it is boosting its apprentice intake by 75 for next year.

In a statement, Qinetiq group HR director Dave Bradley said: ‘It’s a time of uncertainty for graduates and under-25s and we want to show our commitment to those who have worked hard and are keen on a bright future that can really make a difference.

‘The UK has always been a centre for innovation and Qinetiq is playing a key role in maintaining this. We aim to recruit those graduates who want to contribute to this ongoing legacy.’

The company’s graduate scheme is said to provide applicants with a structured two-year programme that helps to provide them with the skills to become future business leaders.

Graduates are given the opportunity to develop their professional skills via mentoring schemes and professional qualifications.
