Raytheon has been awarded a one-year, $74 million option on its Live Training Program with the US Army Program Executive Office – Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI).
The contract option allows the company to continue providing life cycle contractor support for tactical engagement, instrumentation and range training devices and systems for the Live Training Program.
The award is the fourth of seven one-year options under an eight-year contract, which was originally awarded in 1999 for an overall value of $414 million.
Raytheon will continue providing services to operations and maintenance; logistics and engineering; software support, scoring systems, Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) and other equipment. Raytheon will also provide training analysis and feedback, scenario development operations, operation reviews and battlefield effects.
Work on the Live Training Program contract will be performed at sites in the US and Germany.
