Oliver Valves, a supplier of valves and equipment to oil and gas businesses, has invested £750,000 in a new 5,000-sq-ft distribution centre at its Knutsford headquarters to streamline its logistics following a period of growth.
The business now ships more than 300,000 valves per year to customers around the world and storing products in preparation for distribution or collection had become a significant challenge.
The investment follows sales growth to £65.5m for the financial year ended 30 September 2012.
In a statement the company said it is now targeting turnover of £100m within the next 12 to 18 months.
