Grosvenor Waste Management

for a cash consideration of £79.5m, plus debt of £1.5m.

Grosvenor comprises a materials recycling facility (MRF) at its headquarters in Crayford, Kent, which is said to be the largest and one of the most technologically advanced in the UK; a MRF operated on behalf of Peterborough City Council; associated industrial and commercial collection activities; and an extensive recyclate sales network in the UK and abroad. It handles 500,000 tonnes of material each year.

The Crayford, Peterborough and collection operations will be integrated into Viridor Waste’s south eastern region, and a new business, Viridor Resource Management, will oversee all recyclate marketing for Viridor.
