Reflex Marine, producer of the FROG and TORO personnel carriers and a specialist in marine personnel transfer, has launched an accredited service centre in Canada.
Nord Marine Services, which supplies marine safety equipment, has been appointed to operate the centre, which is situated in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. As a result, Canadian operators will be able to access local maintenance, training and demonstration services for the FROG and TORO transfer units.
The Newfoundland operation is the latest to be established by Reflex Marine as part of a programme to set up accredited service centres in key oil and gas regions. Facilities have already been set up in Norway, Dubai, Singapore and Houston, and the company plans to extend to Brazil and the Caspian in the near future.
