Extremes of temperature are no problem for Baumer’s CFAH capacity proximity switch. Rated for temperatures from -80 degrees C to +200 degrees C, the non-contact proximity switch detects most objects, in both metal and non-metallic materials.
Baumer says that typical applications would include the non-invasive measurement of liquids within glass and ceramic containers in excessive temperatures. Its high chemical resistance and temperature range also suit it to applications within the food industry.
