The revitalised Control & Instrumentation show looks set to provide a highly worthwhile hunting ground for innovations, with an expected 200-plus exhibitors focusing on new products and solutions in process control and automation, say the organisers.
C&I `99, taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from 11-13 May, will feature a high quality seminar programme providing a forum for debate on issues such as fieldbus, manufacturing information systems, SCADA and telemetry, open systems, measurement, and the future of process automation. The seminars will be presented by independent industry bodies such as the DTI, NPL and research groups Sira and ARC, and by leading suppliers including Yokogawa, Intellution, Oliver Wight and Endress & Hauser.
The seminar timetable will include many other presentations with practical advice and guidelines on the industry’s most topical and complex issues, and other topics include object technology and object automation.
Also look out for the New Product Seminar Theatre – a new initiative where visitors will be able to see some of the most significant product launches at the show from companies including Druck, Omron and Zetron.
