IFM has launched its first temperature sensor, in the form of the microprocessor controlled TN device. A robust device intended for use with liquid media, it is suitable for pressure up to 400bar, and has a setting range of -54 degrees C to +124 degrees C, or -65 degrees F to +254 degrees F. The sensor features easy selection of Celsius or Fahrenheit operation.
There are two outputs, programmable for either hysteresis or window operating modes. The sensor also stores, and can display, the maximum and minimum temperatures. Accuracy is typically 0.5 degree C over the range 0 to 70 degrees C.
