Rockwell gets e-commerce boost

Rockwell Automation has received Ariba Ready status from Ariba, a business-to-business (B2B) commerce platform provider.

Ariba Ready status is said to mean seamless integration for Rockwell Automation customers accessing through the AribaCommerce Services Network (Ariba CSN).

Rod Michael, director of customer e-business solutions at Rockwell, said: ‘This is a significant step in our continuing efforts to increase the ease-of-use, convenience and functionality of our web site and Rockwell Automation’s e-commerce efforts in general.’

The Configured Supply Program provides customers with B2B integration, allowing them to tailor automation purchases to best suit the global needs of single- and multi-site locations.
