Rittal’s
range of industrial workstations (IW) offers IP rated protection from dust and mechanical damage in harsh industrial environments, where PC’s and TFT monitors require high protection.
Fitted with an IP54 fan and filter as a defence against dust, Rittal says the IW PC enclosure can be mounted on a wall, a machine or fitted onto cast feet with or without lockable twin castors.
A standard TFT monitor can be mounted into an optipanel enclosure, or a Rittal LCD or TFT (resistive touch screen) in 15” (1024 x 768 pixels) or 17” (1280 x 1024 pixels) with brightness of 250cd/m2 and can be supplied in one unit.
The screen enclosure fitting has options for tilt and swivel movement. An input device can also be placed on the work surface or underneath the TFT enclosure on a keyboard shelf.
