Safety net

BOC Industrial has launched an online safety service utilising the company's extensive health and safety experience.

The bocsafety.net site provides solutions to health and safety related challenges across a range of UK sectors including the automotive and marine industries, heavy industry, light engineering, general welding and metal cutting, and research and development.

“The bocsafety.net site aims to be a trusted source of advice and information, helping industrial operators work to legal compliance and to ensure a safer working environment,” said Martin Passingham, BOC Industrial market manager.

“Bocsafety.net helps operators and managers keep in touch with the law through guides to all relevant legal requirements, solve specific or general safety-related problems, and identify risks and unsafe practices in the workplace whilst offering best practice guidance,” added Passingham.

Key issues covered on bocsafety.net include the safe use of gas and gas equipment; safe storage of gas cylinders; ventilation and temperature control; transportation and cryogenics.

BOC Industrial said that many of its own safety experts, engineers, and technicians will support the site with advice and answers to online queries.

Subscription to bocsafety.net costs £12.50 per month (£150 per year) and is available on an annual basis only, with a one-off annual payment.
