Ellon-based manufacturing company LFH Engineering marked the official opening of its purpose-designed headquarters by inviting Scotland’s first minister Alex Salmond to the facility, to see firsthand how the firm has developed since setting up almost a year ago.
During the visit Salmond toured the site, inspecting the company’s specialist machinery, in which LFH recently invested more than £400,000.
This investment has enabled the company to establish 24-hour operations in response to continuing demand for its services, while expanding the production capabilities of the company as a whole.
LFH, which specialises in the manufacture of marine diesel engine coolant pumps, has also significantly increased staffing levels during this time and currently employs 32 staff.
Great to hear they’re doing so well, looks like a business with a good plan and going places..keep up the good work.
