Atlas Copco International has acquired Ketting Handel based in The Netherlands. The company has a consolidated turnover of approximately 3.8 million Euros and 13 employees.

Established in 1962, Ketting Handel’s expertise lies in the design, assembly and maintenance of compressed air systems for use on board ships. The company has also been an Atlas Copco distributor for more than 20 years.

“The acquisition is in line with our strategy to focus on the marine sector as a target market for growth and development,” said Bengt Kvarnbäck, the Business Area President of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique.

Ketting Handel will become part of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique’s Industrial Air division. The name of the company will remain the same, but the Atlas Copco brand will be used on Ketting’s products.
