Yorkshire-based structural steel group Severfield-Rowen has agreed to Northern Ireland-based constructional steel fabricator Fisher Engineering for £90m.
According to Fisher, the new owners will retain all of its 250 staff.
The company is viewed as one of the country’s leading steel fabricators in Europe having been involved in the steelwork industry for fifty years. Its projects include Belfast‘s Castle Court Shopping Centre, the Odyssey Arena and the Waterfront Hall.
Fisher Engineering operates from 21000m2 of purpose-built workspace at Ballinamallard, Enniskillen with an annual capacity in excess of 25000 tonnes.
