Success in the pipeline

Water pipe engineering company Trelleborg Epros International has relocated its British base to Gateshead with support from One Northeast

Innovative waste water pipe engineering company Trelleborg Epros International has relocated its British base to Gateshead with support from regional development agency One Northeast.

Swedish-owned Epros is international pipe repair and sewer rehabilitation company which has developed partly patented methods for trenchless sewer pipe repairs. The technique protects leaking pipes and provides structural stability to defective lines and means no digging is required for in-situ repairs or maintenance of the buried pipe.

The move to Wardley, in Gateshead, has created four new jobs in the office, sales and supply of products. In addition the company plans to open its new customer training facility on site by the end of the year.

One NorthEast provided the company with training and business support and gave Epros access to the European Business Centre.
