AC/DC power supplies

AC/DC power supplies suit harsh environments

Product Details Supplier Info More products

XP Power has unveiled the ECC100 series 100W single-output, baseplate-cooled AC/DC power supplies targeted at outdoor applications such as wireless communications, lighting and information displays.

The power supplies are designed for use in sealed boxes and harsh environments where wide temperature variations are commonplace.

The conduction-cooled units are suited for use in applications such as traffic monitoring, cellular base stations and other sealed enclosure installations operating from -40C to +75C.

Measuring 83.8 x 127.0 x 39.4mm (3.3 x 5 x 1.55in), the compact and efficient units – typically 88 per cent – use conduction cooling to transfer heat through the chassis.

No fans or forced airflow are required for the unit to operate at full power.

The ECC100 AC/DC power supply range is available in five models covering the nominal output voltages of +12, +15, +24, +28 or +48VDC.

An optional surge filter module is available to increase protection of incoming AC surges to level four of EN61000-4-5.

A set of monitoring signals and control features include remote sense, a combined AC and DC fail signal, and remote on/off capability.

A +5v/0.5A standby output is provided as standard.

The range meets IEC60959-1/UL60950-1/EN60950-1 safety specifications for IT, commercial and industrial equipment.

In addition, the units comply with EN550022 level B standard for conducted emissions without the need for additional filtering components.

The ECC100 series comes with a three-year warranty.
