Bruel and Kjaer’s technical specialists will demonstrate sound and vibration solutions at the Audio Engineering Society’s (AES’s) 128th show in London.

At the three-day event, which is due to take place on 23-25 May, visitors will be able to see the company’s tools in action.

Bruel and Kjaer will showcase the 4961 multi-field microphone – a 1/4in transducer with the same low-noise floor as a 1/2in microphone – which provides accurate measurements in unpredictable sound fields.

Visitors will be able to try out the company’s Head and Torso Simulator (Hats), which comprises a dummy with built-in ear and mouth simulators to provide a realistic replica of an average, adult human head and torso.

The Hats system is used to investigate the external acoustic effects from headsets, microphones, headphones, hearing aids, audio conference devices and hearing protectors.

Also on display will be Bruel and Kjaer’s latest sound-level meters, including the 2270 sound-level meter, suitable for environmental noise assessment, occupational noise evaluation, building acoustic measurements, the FFT analysis of sound and vibration, noise reduction and product quality control.
