Amplicon has launched a series of compact isolated transmitters designed to accommodate process measurement and control applications.

The TT230 series is loop powered and supports both source or sink output wiring connections with a 12–32VDC supply.

The series offers a wide operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85°C, a fast response time, electrical noise immunity and surge protection — all of which make the transmitters suitable for use in harsh environments.

The DIN-rail-mountable transmitters can be set up and calibrated using the free Windows configuration software. They are built to AS9100 aerospace and ISO 9001-certified quality control standards and are backed by a seven-year warranty.

TT230 models

  • Thermocouple model — this accepts eight sensor types (J, K, T, R, S, E, B and N), as well as ±100mV inputs
  • RTD model — this can accommodate two-, three- and four-wire 100ohm platinum sensors or 0–900ohm linear resistance inputs
  • Voltage model — this converts bipolar signals from ±10mVDC to ±150VDC with multiple selectable ranges
  • Current model — this can be adjusted to support ±20mA, 0-20mA and 4–20mA DC input signals
