Arburg demonstrated future trends in injection moulding at the MSV in Brno, Czech Republic.

Arburg was represented by a hybrid Allrounder 570 H with Multilift V Select robotic system and a complex production cell based on an Allrounder 370 S with Multilift V robotic system.

This system demonstrated the encapsulation of inserts and the integration of downstream assembly steps.

As representative of the hybrid machines, an Allrounder 570 H with a clamping force of 2,000kN was presented at the Czech trade fair.

On this exhibit, CD cases were injection moulded, removed by a Multilift V robotic system and set down on a conveyor belt.

The hybrid Hidrive machines combine the servo-electric clamping unit of the Allrounder A, the hydraulic injection unit of the Allrounder S with hydraulic accumulator technology and servo-electric dosage.

There is the option to equip the Allrounder H with a Multilift V Select robotic system to automate moulded part production with a production cell based on a hydraulic Allrounder 370 S with a clamping force of 600kN and a Multilift V robotic system.

In the production of a toy buggy, the robotic system inserts the metal axles, removes the sprue and the individual components and assembles them to produce the finished toy car.

A Selogica control system is used on both applications with programming via the teach-in function.
