Accelerated Technology Laboratories (ATL), a supplier of laboratory data management solutions, and the Institute for Consulting and Data Handling (ICD) will exhibit at Pittcon 2011 on 13-18 March.

At the event, which will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, ATL will present a new laboratory enterprise resource planning (ERP) system dubbed ATL Titan.

The Titan system is said to be highly configurable and is built upon Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), which gives users the ability to configure their business rules to match their organisations’ requirements, rather than modifying their way of doing business to match a software package.

Configurable screens allow users to match the graphical interface to their own data-entry flow.

A workflow management system allows users to graphically define, manage and execute tasks and even provides a model to develop additional workflow activities that can be incorporated into any workflow.

Workflows can be used to organise data, dispatch notifications, generate and send reports and other files via fax and email and evaluate complex logic that reflects real-world processes and decisions.

According to ATL, the new platform utilises Microsoft Clickonce deployment to simplify installation and upgrading and provides a feature-rich user experience that promotes automation and productivity through streamlining work processes.

The company will also launch version 9.0 of its Sample Master Pro laboratory information management system (LIMS), which includes a new look complete with new icons and ribbons.

ATL and its partner ICD, a laboratory consulting and software company, will exhibit laboratory automation solutions including LABS/Q, a LIMS for the pharmaceutical and process manufacturing industries, and LABS/QM, for SAP integration, along with instrument integration to SAP via the LABS/QM product.

They will also showcase Validat, a method validation software suitable for use by pharmaceutical companies.

Validat will walk users through various checkpoints (precision, accuracy and linearity), provide statistical analysis and automatically generate regulatory reports and graphics with full regulatory compliance.
