AB 180 Onestep and AB 225 Onestep single operation print and pack systems from Automated Packaging Systems are designed for use in packaging applications such as pick and pack, mail order, short production runs and manufacture to order operations.

The systems — which offer typical process rates of 480–600 packs/hour per operator and operate up to 30 bags per minute — can be used alongside conveying and sortation equipment with integrated barcode scanning to provide a complete pack station.

Both models print labelling information directly onto packs using a PI 412C printer, which is positioned over the next bag to be loaded, before presenting each bag for filling.

They also feature Autotouch Control Screens — which provide access to job set-up and storage for job recall — and modular ’Replace-n-Repair’ components.

Both the AB 180 Onestep and the AB 225 Onestep systems use Autobag customisable branding bags-on-a-roll.
