Wyatt Technology has published a brochure in support of its new electrophophoretic mobility instrument, the Mobius.

The 10-page brochure is a comprehensive document that outlines the capabilities of the Mobius, including an increased number of detectors at a variety of angles that produce a greater amount of data than any other zeta-potential instrument.

The brochure highlights that the instrument is up to 10 times more sensitive than the other instruments on the market and the first and only light scattering instrument that makes reliable, reproducible and non-destructive electrophoretic mobility measurements of macromolecules as small as 1nm while under dilute solution conditions.

The Mobius can collect 30 times as much data as conventional technologies and produce the result in as few as 30sec, Wyatt claims.

Using Massively Parallel Phase Analysis Light Scattering (MP-PALS) to measure nanoparticles means results can be produced faster than ever before.

The Mobius extends the lower limits of the size range, avoids using abnormally high concentrations, applies gentle electric potentials and provides ultra-high sensitivity and low sample volumes.

The document provides detailed specifications of Wyatt’s Mobius.

In addition, the document also offers information on a range of additional products and applications, such as Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS), Optilab T-Rex, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Dynapro Nanostar.

All are suitable instruments for comprehensive characterisation of macromolecules and nanoparticles.
